Tourism Al-Injazat Team Organizes a Historical and Cultural Trip to the Sudair Region, North of Riyadh

a part of its ongoing series of tourism and cultural programs, the Al-Injazat Cooperative Tourism Team organized a special field trip on Friday, 18th Dhul-Qi’dah 1446 AH, to the Sudair region north of Riyadh, with the participation of over 30 new tour guides and students from King Saud University and Princess Nourah University. The journey blended rich history with the serene beauty of nature.

The Trip began with a visit to Huraymila Governorate, where participants explored the historic battlefield that marked the fall of the First Saudi State. They also learned about the horse stables of Hawdha bin Ali, the King of Al-Yamamah, gaining insights into this pivotal era.

The group then proceeded to the historic village of Oudat Sudair, where they toured Al-Dhuwaihi and Al-Hussein heritage houses, followed by a traditional lunch prepared by local productive families, offering authentic flavors of the Sudair region.

The Tour continued with visits to several historic homes and museums. Afterwards, the group headed to Hibour Farm, where they enjoyed Saudi hospitality with tea and coffee amidst a charming natural setting filled with rare birds and friendly animals.

730 The final stop was in the historic village of Al-Tuwaim, where participants were captivated by a mosque over years old, as well as other well-preserved traditional houses.

To conclude the day, the female participants joined a special cultural event—the “Wedding of the Ancestors” Festival, which recreated the traditional Saudi wedding in a festive, heritage-filled atmosphere.

The Tour was guided by the esteemed trainer Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Wuhaibi, with the support of Dr. Thamer Al-Mahboob and tour guide Ms. Khulood Al-Ajmi. The trip was coordinated and organized by Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mubaddel, in collaboration with assistant trainer and guide Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Mousa.

This Trip Reflects The Team’s mission to enhance tourism awareness, connect younger generations with the Kingdom’s heritage and history, and empower new tour guides through practical, experience-based learning.
